This August, thousands of activists will join the National March on the DNC in Chicago to demand the Democratic Party fight for the rights and liberation of all peoples.

This is the time for our movements to gather and demand more from our electeds, including demilitarization of Israel and end to weapons aid.

We know our struggles are interconnected. When we show up to march for the liberation of Palestinians, we are marching for the liberation of all peoples. We’re gathering to demand U.S. money goes to the people – not to war. Chicago, will you join us?

Justice, Peace, and Equality!

Stand with Palestine! End U.S. Aid to Israel!

Stop police crimes! Community control of the police now!

Immigrant Rights and Legalization for All!

Defend LGBTQIA+ & Reproductive Rights!

Money for Jobs, School, Healthcare, Housing, and Environment, Not for War!

Defend the right to unionize and strike!

  1. We condemn the Democratic Party for promoting wars in Palestine, Ukraine, and countries all over the world,  and for strangling dozens of countries with illegal sanctions that affect over 2 billion people. US economic and military interests are behind the genocide in Gaza, and are threatening war on China. The US military puts the entire world in danger of war and targets people’s movements like in the Philippines and Colombia.
  1. We recognize the DNC serves billionaires and corporations at the expense of the people.  The Democratic Party prioritizes profit and plunder over people and planet through its business centered economic policies – plunging the economy into further crisis and giving corporations free reign to exploit their workers, displace people, and destroy the environment.
  1. We demand that elected officials from the Democratic Party follow through on progressive campaign promises, such as the George Floyd bill, defending reproductive rights, and protecting immigrants from deportation.
  1. We demand an end to racist and political repression, mass incarceration, and racist policing. Democratic party officials must stop prosecuting campaigns of repression, and they must fight against the repression committed by Republicans. They must also support the right of communities to control the police, thereby empowering themselves to eliminate systems of repression.
  1. We expose the Democratic Party for neglecting the rights and opposing the liberation of workers, low-income immigrants, Black, Chicano, Indigenous, and Latino communities, women, and LGBTQ+ people. We will bring the demands of these diverse movements to the doorstep of the Democratic Party. We will continue to fight until we are all free.
  1. We support the right of nations and peoples to self-determination and sovereignty. No country has a right to intervene in or control politically, economically or militarily the nations and peoples of the world.
  2. Protests are fundamental to shifting public narrative. Its core function undermines the most important pillar of power: legitimacy. Protests spark new conversations in a way that pushes more radical thought. And for new activists, attending a protest can be a life-changing experience, moving casual participants into lifelong committed activists. This collective action is transformative: to be in a unanimous call with thousands of other people is empowering.
Top left green box in light green text says, "The people united will never be defeated". In a red box bottom right, light green text says, "Our people have always fought for liberation. When we rise together to take collective action, we win. For decades, people have protested at the Democratic National Convention demanding justice for our communities locally and globally." Behind the boxes is a collage in red and green tones of people and protest signs throughout the decades. Logo of the March on the DNC 2024 is on the bottom right.
